The Dudes enter the 1980’s New York art scene with 1996’s Basquiat. This biopic of Jean-Michel Basquiat chronicles his meteoric rise, and the affect it has on himself and those around him. The cast is unconventionally deep, where even the minor characters are played by A-listers. It’s worth your time, so get out your pink scarves, and sit down for a great film.
