The Dudes accept meatballs as payment with 1998’s The Wedding Singer. From everything we see, Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore are obviously meant for each other, but the movie won’t let that happen, and almost takes pleasure in torturing you. What keeps you interested is the chemistry of the leads, and some genuine laughs. This is a good movie everybody, but it puts you to work.
