The Dudes gyrate around a cauldron with 1982’s The Beastmaster. Full of imagination and ideas, this ambitious film that played for years on Basic and Premium Cable is a worthy Sword and Sorcery entry, an unfairly maligned genre. So strip to your loincloths and cacaw from mountaintops, because if you’re in the right headspace, this one is as fun as movies get.
